A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to speak about open tooling in Free and Open Source Software projects at CfgMgmtCamp in Ghent. The talk had been requested since I gave a talk on the same theme at What Hackers Yearn (see my personal blog post). At this occasion, I gave it the title: Free Software Needs Free Tools: Making Your Project Truly Open. The organization of the conference was good and I am happy that the talk also was recorded.
The slides, which includes some links with examples, sources, and inspiration, are available at aina.li/cfgmgmt.
The talk was also covered in an excellent write-up by LWN.
